Harry Fisk (1887 – 1974) studied art at the Art Student League. He did advertising art in the 1920’s. He illustrated magazines around 1930 and worked as lithographer. He illustrated books for more then 40 years and was active in the comic book fields, via Funnies Inc Shop in the 40’s.
Fisk illustrated characters like Captain Marvel Jr, Commando Yannk, Human Torch and The Conquerors. He also worked as teacher at the school of Visual Arts in 1955/56.
This artist came to my attention due to some pulp covers for magazines like Dime Mystery and Horror Tales.
